Young Adults complete Level 2 Award in Door Supervision……
Young Adults complete Level 2 Award in Door Supervision Course.
On Monday 17th February 2014, Norwood Community Group Services hosted a five-day security training programme which was delivered at West Norwood Social Club, London SE27.
The eight candidates that attended the five-day training programme will receive their results next week. We anticipate that all students who completed the Level 2 Award in Door Supervision will be successful.
“The BIIAB qualification will provide employment opportunities for young people within the security industry”, said Jamal Rahman, Security Trainer.
The borough-wide training initiative is funded by the Big Lottery, London Community Foundation and supported by Evening Standard through the Disposed Fund.
“Once I get my certificate, I will apply for my SIA badge and hopefully improve my chances of employment”, said Terrell Bernard, who attended the five day training programme.
“Jamal was an excellent trainer who was able to connect with us”, said Ryan Ritchie, another candidate that successful completed the course.
Jamal Rahman, Security Specialist, has been providing security consultation and training for several years. He has worked with disadvantage young adults on many initiatives, providing valued opportunities for NEETS within inner city areas.
