Students Achieve Yellow, Purple and Blue Belts with (BKTA) British Karate Traditional Association

On the 17th December 2018 7 students  successfully completed their disciplines with the BTKA)British Karate Traditional Association Grading hosted at the Old Library in West Norwood SE27 0HY

7 young students and one adult in total received the following grades:  yellow belts 7th Kyu, blue belts 4th Kyu and purple belts 5th Kyu

Some of those successful students are pictured in the above photograph, it is only because of their hard work and determination that they have achieved this excellent outcome.

In a time when are young people are in being vilified through various social media outlets, we look beyond the stereotypes and seek to celebrate their achievements. Well done!

We would also like to thank Roy Gould, Annette Turpin, Derek Boyd and Stead Gray for the service they provide, as well as their expertise and professionalism.

This project is funded by the Young Lambeth Cooperative (YLC) working in Partnership with the Norwood Consortium.
