“Football Basic Rules” AQA accredited sessions
On Monday 8th August 2013, saw the start of Norwood Community Group Services, Summer University Programme in partnership with Lambeth Cooperative Council, at Elm Green School.
The progamme kicked off to a flying start as young people from across Lambeth participated in a four week “Football Basic Rules” AQA accredited sessions.
Many of the participants have all achieved the aims and objectives as set out in the AQA units and remain on course to complete the required modules.
“I am so excited to be a part of this excellent sport initiative, it’s great to see young people play actively together, said Zakariya Rahman, Youth Support Worker Norwood Community Services.
“We have seen an array of talent and some young people have been singled out to receive a special award in December when we hold our annual award ceremony”, said Jamal Rahman, Head of NCGS.
