Students Complete An Award In Door Supervision
On Monday 29th July, Norwood Community Group Services facilitated a five day security training programme that was delivered at Hightrees Community Development Trust in south London.
Successful candidates that attended the five day training programme were all awarded with a Level 2 Award in Door Supervision by Security Trainer, Jamal Rahman. The BIIAB qualification will provide employment opportunities for young people within the security industry.
The borough wide training initiative is funded by the Big Lottery, London Community Foundation and supported by Evening Standard through the Disposed Fund.

“Jamal was an excellent trainer who was able to connect with us”, said Elijah Smith, another candidate that successful completed the training.
Jamal Rahman, Security Specialist, has been providing security consultation and training for several years. He has worked with disadvantage young adults on many initiatives, providing valued opportunities for NEETS within inner city areas.
